On the ice, three players joined the Wild players in an informal skate this afternoon. Matt Dumba, Nick Palmieri and Steven Kampfer skated with the team and will skate at the club’s Training Camp, which officially begins tomorrow. WildTV caught up to Dumba, Palmieri and Kampfer after the skate, and the trio was all excited to be on the ice today. They also have the advantage of playing half the season already, Dumba with his junior team, the Red Deer Rebels, and Kampfer and Palmieri with the Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros.
Today also marked the team’s Media Day for the club’s rights holders and in-house needs. The Lighthouse spoke with a number of players for a new feature in the team’s Gameday Program. Not to give anything away, but a majority of the player’s musical guilty pleasure was Justin Bieber. You’ll have to pick up a game program to see which players have Bieber Fever.
