On this week’s “Becoming Wild: Chapter Two” presented by Toyota, the webisodes caught up with former Wild blueliner Brad Bombadir and current Minnesota centerman Kyle Brodziak. “Bomber,” as he was affectionately known while on the ice and still in the Wild front office, is the team’s Director of Player Development. Probably the coolest job on the plant for a former NHLer, Bomber traverses the globe and imparts his wisdom to Wild prospects.
The show continued to traverse the globe, following Brodziak to his home just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. One of the best things about this season’s Becoming Wild: viewers get a chance to see how the Wild stay in top form in the offseason. For Brodziak staying in tiptop shape includes climbing stairs, leading to the second best view we’ve seen in these webisodes… a close second to Cal Clutterbuck’s local golf course, because, let’s be honest, most of us would rather ride a golf cart to a good view than run stairs like Brodziak. Catch up on this week’s webisodes, here.
The Wild will play 10 nationally televised games this season and the rest will air on FOX Sports North or FOX Sports North Plus, all broadcast will be in high definition. Wild Hockey Camp
This week, the Wes Walz/ Minnesota Wild Hockey Camp has been in action at the National Sports Center in Blaine. Campers were treated with autographs and Q&A sessions from Nate Prosser and Chad Rau on Tuesday and Josh Harding yesterday. The Lighthouse was at the session yesterday and it was an absolute pleasure to see the youngsters interact with Harding and Walz. Wild.com will have a WildTV video and photo gallery from the camp next week, so stay tuned.
