Wild Prospects In QMJHL Final

Over the weekend, two Wild prospects advanced to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League finals.

On Saturday, Charlie Coyle and Zack Phillips led the Saint John Sea Dogs to a 4-3 overtime win in Game 5 against the Chicoutimi Saguenees. Phillips had a goal and an assist and Coyle added his 14th goal of the playoffs. View highlights of the game, here. The win vaulted the Sea Dogs to the 2012 President’s Cup championship series against Rimouski Oceanic.

The Sea Dogs are defending President’s Cup champions and have made it to the final for three straight years. Visit the Sea Dogs’ website, here.

As regular-season champions, the top-seeded Sea Dogs will open the series at home on Friday, May 4.
