First off, apologies if you sign up to have the Lighthouse emailed to you and you received multiple emails with nothing in them. There seems to be some technical difficulties with the blog today.
The Minnesota Wild is back on the road tonight in the hockey Mecca of Montreal. The Wild will be looking to avenge one of its worst losses in team history, when the Montreal Canadiens came into Xcel Energy Center just under one year ago, and blitzed the Wild, 8-1.
In that game, PK Subban became the first defenseman ever to post a hat trick against Minnesota, while Habs fans danced, and chanted…and drank in the Xcel Energy Center stands. It just wasn’t a good day for the good guys.
Tonight, Mike Yeo will change up his lines, putting Nick Palmieri on Kyle Brodziak’s wing along with Dany Heatley. Devin Setoguchi will move onto a line with Matt Cullen and Cal Clutterbuck. Erik Christensen is coming out of the lineup and Matt Kassian will get back in and will play with Darroll Powe and Nick Johnson.
I’m going to get out of here now, because the more I write, the more emails get sent. Again, sorry.
