New And Old Faces In The Lineup Tonight

All three of the players the Wild acquired on Friday – Kurtis Foster, Nick Palmieri and Stephane Veilleux – are expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Minnesota Wild hosts the San Jose Sharks.

Palmieri is going to play on the wing with Matt Cullen and Cal Clutterbuck. Veilleux will join the fourth line with Warren Peters and Jed Ortmeyer. Foster appears to be paired with Justin Falk, which means Nate Prosser will come out of the lineup tonight. Matt Kassian will also be a healthy scratch. Watch the Wild TV videos of Foster, Veilleux and Palmieri.

As a reminder, the Wild players will be wearing camouflage jerseys during pregame warmups tonight to benefit Defending the Blue Line. The jerseys will be signed by the players and will be made available via an online auction beginning on Tuesday.

Also, in case you had your hopes up of collecting the Marek Zidlicky trading card at today’s game, you’re out of luck. Instead, the giveaway will be a Cal Clutterbuck trading card.
