  1. As well as Backstrom has played, is playing, and will play over the next 1 3/4 seasons, he still might want to place his MN home on the market now. It appears that this organization is full of solid goaltending prospects. The latest addition to Houston wasn’t just the goalie of the year in his league last season, he was also the player of the year. Backstrom can be very solid, but does anyone actually believe Fletcher will raise his $6M salary?
