Kassian Clears Waivers, Headed To Houston

It was a full boat in the Minnesota Wild locker room today as the Vancouver media horde swarmed in. No word on if any of the bottom-feeding media committed the sin of stepping on the Wild logo, but if they did, they will be hurting in the pocketbook.

Not too much news coming out of the morning skate today that we didn’t already know. Matt Kassian did clear waivers and will report to the Houston Aeros. Kassian had only appeared in two games and was averaging just 2:58 in ice time, so he’ll benefit from more playing with the Aeros.

As we knew, Josh Harding will get the start in goal tonight as he looks to stay burning hot. The defensive group will also remain the same for tonight, but that could change soon as Clayton Stoner is close to returning from his hand injury.
