The Minnesota Wild returned to practice on Saturday, but Cal Clutterbuck was not on the ice. Head Coach Todd Richards said Clutterbuck was being evaluated by a doctor for an “upper body injury.”
Richards said an upper body injury includes “anything above the waist.” Of course, this will lead to speculation as whether or not it’s a head injury as a result of the Trevor “Disaster on Skates” Gillies incident.
We likely won’t know any more on Clutterbuck until tomorrow. The Wild will hold an optional skate before hosting the Buffalo Sabres at 5:00 p.m.
