Bouchard Will Return Tomorrow

As you can read here, Pierre-Marc Bouchard will return to the Wild lineup tomorrow night against the Phoenix Coyotes. Bouchard is very excited, but admittedly nervous about playing his first game in over a year, saying “It’s going to be like my first NHL game all over again.”

To make room for Bouchard, the Wild reassigned Matt Kassian to the Houston Aeros earlier in the day.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Butch in game action, although he’s been making some sick plays in practice. So, here’s a little video refresher showing some of the things he’s done over the years in a Wild uni.

Wild.com will have video interviews with “Butch” and Head Coach Todd Richards tomorrow.

This has to be an exciting time for Richards, who has had the chance to put Butch’s name on the roster one time in his NHL head coaching career. There’s no doubt he’s going to ease Bouchard back into the lineup, but you’d have to think he’s going to see some time alongside other skill guys tomorrow night.

  1. Thank God it seems like forever. Hoping that he can stay and be healthy.
Miss seeing him in the line up
