Wild Claims O’Sullivan Off Waivers

Former Minnesota Wild second round draft pick Patrick O’Sullivan is back in the fold. The Wild claimed O’Sullivan off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes it was announced on Tuesday.

O’Sullivan was a highly touted Wild prospect but never played a game in Minnesota due to a draft day trade in 2006 that sent him to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Pavol Demitra.

There will be more on O’Sullivan on Wild.com later today.

  1. I am so happy for Pat, he didn’t get a far shake in Carolina, the coach there is a joke, how can you expect someone to produce when no ice time was given, he will do great things with the wild and down the road maybe Mike Yeo will be his Head Coach that would be awesome…Good Luck P
