Wild forward Zach Parise recognizes the importance of an assist on and off the ice. He will take the first stride to benefit Defending the Blue Line and the organization’s “Puck for a Buck” fundraising campaign.
Parise will purchase a puck, which will be on display at the Eden Prairie store.
To participate, Gander Mountain customers can purchase a paper puck at the registers. All proceeds raised will go directly to DTBL. The pucks can be personalized and hung on the wall at the store. The “Puck for a Buck” campaign is being conducted at Gander Mountain stores in Minnesota, North Dakota and New York.
“Gander Mountain has emerged as a premier partner of Defending The Blue Line, and this initiative is just another example of their dedication to our cause,”
Shane Hudella, Founder and President of DTBL, said. “It’s through the generosity of great organizations like Gander Mountain that we are able to continue our mission of keeping hockey alive for the children of our nation’s heroes, and we are truly thankful for their help.”
