With the Wild’s season coming to an end yesterday, Minnesota has reassigned four defensemen to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
Kris Fredheim, Chay Genoway, Nate Prosser and Marco Scandella were reassigned to Houston and join the Aeros, as the club pushes for the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Scandella played in 63 games with the Wild this season, registering 12 points (3-6=9). Prosser skated in 51 games, scoring goal and adding 11 assists. Fredheim played in three games with the Wild. Genoway made his NHL debut yesterday and registered an assist.
All four players are eligible to play for the remainder of the season and playoffs if Houston reaches the post-season.
