The Wild reassigned Kris Fredheim to Houston of the American Hockey League following the Wild’s 3-2 shootout win over St. Louis on Saturday. Fredheim appeared in two games with the Wild and saw 10:13 of ice time in both contests.
This likely means that Mike Lundin will be ready to go when the Wild plays again on Wednesday against Nashville. If for some reason he cannot go, the Wild could call up Fredheim or another defenseman if needed.
