  1. Which college teams will be playing for Hockey Day Minnesota? It seems logical to highlight the best in the State of Hockey, which according to last seasons polls and rankings(1) as well as pre-season predictions for next year(2) the St. Cloud State Huskies should be participating.

  2. Jeremy, the college teams have yet to be determined, but you can bet the Gophers will be one of them. St. Cloud was their opponent last year. If it were up to me, it’d be UMD (that #8 ranking isn’t looking too shabby either), but I think it’s all about scheduling. I remember Denver was the opponent one year.

Whoever the opponent is, how cool would it be to play that game at Target Field or The Bank?

Ah hey ther bring the gophers and we will build a rink to kick ther asses in hey…
